Whether your little one wants to be a generic tiger or trigger, this DIY make-up tutorial is super easy!
Last year, my daughter wore this adorable tiger Halloween costume.
Fact, it’s actually a hand-me-down that myself and my siblings wore! Her older brother was a tiger for Halloween when he was 18 months too. Don’t you just love family traditions?
I started looking up easy tiger makeup ideas for kids and found a few inspirations, but nothing perfect.

DIY Easy Tiger Halloween Makeup for Kids
Simple Easy Tiger Face Makeup Look for Kids
This tutorial is great because you only need 2 supplies and they are products most women have in their makeup bags already! No need to buy additional supplies! Use the attached photos for inspiration on how to get this cute, but simple easy tiger face makeup look!
Step 1) Start before Halloween.
Hopefully, you’ve let your little one try on their costume a few times before Halloween. My Little One did NOT want to wear this cute little hat for his first Halloween. So, I’m glad we “practiced” before the actual big night. Thankfully, I was better prepared with Little Two, and we tried on the costume a couple of times before Trick’or’Treating.
This might be the same for the make-up. Test it out before the actual night to make sure they will be okay with it on their face!
Step 2) Gather your supplies
For this easy tiger Halloween makeup tutorial, all you need is two items:
a) dark eyeliner pencil
b) white or light eyeshadow
Step 3) Add eyeshadow to the eyes first.
So that you don’t smudge the eyeliner, add the shadow first.
Have your kid close his or her eyes and start on the inner eyelid. Move up towards the eyebrow and then brush out towards the temple. Now, go to the outside of their eye, draw straight out with the eyeshadow and then brush up to meet your line above. Fill in everywhere else.
Do the same technique on the other side.
Step 4) Add eyeshadow below the nose.
Now, you will add the white eyeshadow above the lips but below the nose. Have your kid smile and add in all the areas between his smile lines!
Step 5) Draw the tiger lines on the face. Add the nose, then the whiskers, then the eyes.
The nose, whiskers, and eyes are some of the most critical pieces for making an adorably cute baby tiger. So, if your little one is squirmy, focus on these areas first. And if you don’t get it all done, then at least you have the outline!
For the nose, color the front of the nose and just a little on the tip.
For the whiskers, draw 3 whiskers on each side of the mouth.
For the eyes, draw “wings” on each eye. Start on outside of eye and sweep up, outlining the white you previously put on. Then start on the inside corner of the eye, and again, trace the white you put on. Do this for both eyes
Step 6) Add the details
For extra effect, add a line above the lips to define the mouth, as well as dots and cheekbones. You can also add the “tiger stripes” on the forehead. Do 3 simple stripes, not perfectly even, to give a cute tiger face.
