Hi, I’m Jessica.

I’m an Air Force veteran, the wife of a professional golfer, and a mom of four. I’m raising my kids to be bold followers of Christ who love the outdoors, stay curious about the world, and show kindness and respect to others.
I believe deeply in building a life on purpose—not perfectly, but intentionally. That belief shapes how I parent, how I manage our home and finances, and how I show up in my work.
Why Simplified Motherhood Exists
I’ve always returned to writing as a way to process life, reflect, and create clarity. Simplified Motherhood grew out of that rhythm—part creative outlet, part accountability, part encouragement for other moms navigating full lives.

Here you’ll find practical systems, routines, and mindset shifts that help reduce overwhelm and create more margin. I write about motherhood, money, habits, and everyday leadership—not because I have it all figured out, but because I’m actively living it.
I use simple systems and routines for both family life and finances to support the life we want to build, and I share what’s actually working along the way.
A Little More About Me
My background in the Air Force keeps me grounded. I spent over a decade in leadership roles where navigating communication, conflict, and high-stress situations wasn’t optional—it was the job. That experience shapes how I think about leadership, responsibility, and decision-making, both at work and at home.
I love working with stay-at-home moms and professional women alike—especially those who are capable, committed, and quietly carrying a lot.
When I’m not writing for the blog, you’ll find me:
- Working out or running
- Riding bikes with my kids
- Traveling with my husband
- Drinking coffee
- Gardening, reading, or taking a good nap
- Spending time with family
How I Help Beyond the Blog
Over time, my writing naturally expanded into coaching.
I’m a leadership and personal development coach for high-capacity women—both working moms and at-home moms—who want to live and lead with more clarity, confidence, and alignment.
I’ve watched so many women try to make life work by pushing harder, doing more, or carrying unspoken expectations. I’ve lived that life too. Real change, I’ve learned, happens when you slow down enough to ask better questions:
- What matters most in this season?
- What’s getting in the way?
- Who do I want to become—and how does that shape today?
My coaching helps women get clear on those answers and turn them into sustainable, practical action that fits real life.
