We love going to the pool, which is across the street from our house! But last summer with a 3 week old, I needed to be extra careful. Newborns can’t regulate their core temperatures as well as older kids and adults. Also, their skin is fresh and will burn easily.

When the autumn leaves start falling and the first smells of snow waft through the air, you excitedly prepare for your newborn’s arrival! But you may be wondering how to keep your newborn warm in winter?

We love going for walks in the winter with our dogs. We also love taking advantage of sunny days for park trips so my older kids can get some outdoor time. This means, I just can’t stay inside all day every day even with a newborn! I have to be extra careful to ensure his little body stays warm enough since babies aren’t as good at regulating body temperature as adults.
