Yaaassss! I’m so excited for this printable. A simple planning tool for moms that actually works. THAT is the reason I created a free printable weekly planner to be used by busy moms to organize the chaos. If you don’t have the time to draw a pretty bullet journal every week or your to-do list gets lost in every single app, then this easy free printable is for you!
I encourage you to download this printable with caution! Only download it if you want to practice gratefulness, stay focused, and prioritize your list. Okay, that sounds a little extreme I must admit… but since there are blocks for you to write all those things down, then I thought I would say it… haha.
As a reminder this is a weekly planner.
If you’re looking for a daily planner, you might want to read how to make an effective to do list for moms because there’s a great printable over there too!

How to use the Free Printable Weekly Planner
If you want to go ahead and just download the printable, then here it is! But I’ll walk you through the steps of using the printable below (and a little bit about why I created it the way I did).
Be Grateful
First, things, first. I think it’s ALWAYS important to take a moment to recognize what you’re grateful for! That’s why this printable gives space for you to write what you’re grateful for at the very beginning of the week.

Brain Dump
If you haven’t heard of the magical brain dump, prepare to be amazed. This space is where you write down EVERYTHING you’re carrying around in your head. I mean, seriously, everything.
Don’t filter yourself. Don’t think I can remember that later. Write it all down so you don’t exhaust yourself trying to remember every little thing. When I do this I get so much clarity of thought and space to actually DO instead of getting stuck in my head.

Next Week
Once you’ve brain dumped, there are two steps:
- Cross off all the items on your list that are: duplicates, don’t align with your values, don’t bring you joy or that you just don’t need to do.
- Select a few items that don’t really need to be done this week, and add them to the “next week” box. And yes, after you’ve filled in the rest of the weekly planner, you’ll probably want to add a few more items to this box.
Daily Plans
Here’s where the fun part happens! (Come on… you know it’ll be fun!)
First, decide on a focus for the day.
The focus could be goal-oriented like “Drink 100 oz of water.” Or could be more mindset oriented like, “Practice contentment.”
The focus could also be, “Schedule all appointments” or “Clean the house.”
The focus section is your basic priority for the day that overarches the other tasks that you have assigned for the day. There’s some creative freedom in this section, so share in the comments how you like to fill it out!
Next, fill in your to-dos.
I recommend for your daily to do list that you have no more than 6 to dos when I talk about effective to do lists. But for your weekly planner, I recommend sticking with your top 3 priorities for each day that you ABSOLUTELY want to get done that day.
This is the stuff that:
- has a deadline
- brings you joy
- gives you the best return on investment for your time
- rejuvenates you
- are within your responsibilities (don’t do someone else’s job)
- supports your goals

About how to write a to do
A word of caution! Don’t just write “research hotel prices” for your next trip coming up. Instead write, “Write down 5 – Five Star hotels.” And then the second to do might be, “Call 5 hotels to see if there are any specials.”
Be as SPECIFIC as possible and drill down the to do’s until they are easy to do in 10-minute increments.
The Biggest Challenge for Moms
The biggest HURDLE moms face are interruptions. Therefore, if you’re having trouble getting things done, then start breaking down your tasks into easily digestible items that will take you 10 minutes or less.
Again, here’s the free weekly planner for you to download!
I’d love to hear how you used this time management tool to get more organized in YOUR life?!
